They met at a golf course in Beijing so appropriately, Lu & John got married at a golf course. For their festivities, the happy couple chose the stunning Paramount Country Club (formerly Dellwood Country Club) in Rockland County, New York. This is our favorite photo from the day. Look at how lovely this place is with its gorgeous stone walls!
Below is a sneak peek of images from the wedding. Fun wedding with games to prove how much John wants to marry Lu, a funky first dance, a casino cocktail hour and a hip hop singing groom – what a day to remember for their friends & family! It started to pour during their formal portrait session, but with a bit of speedy photo-taking and adjusting for the weather, voila, the newlyweds can still have pictures that capture the country club’s beautiful grounds. Congrats again to the new Mr. & Mrs. John Hong!
Here’s a sneak peek of Michelle & Steve’s wedding at Round Hill. Weather was a bit rainy and unpredictable, so they had to move their ceremony indoors. As you can see, the happy couple didn’t let that get them down though! Many congrats to the newlyweds & the Philips & the Ankrom families!
We’ve photographed many, many weddings in our 5-year history. A few years ago, we had the pleasure of photographing Rania & Omar.  Rania then kindly introduced us to her sister, Sandy, and her cousin, Suzy, both of whose weddings we photographed a few months ago.  We will also be photographing their friend’s wedding in April.  We are deeply honored to be so highly regarded by Rania’s friends & family. It’s also a lot of fun to see the same people again at each wedding. It’s as if we’re going to a reunion every few months!
Sandy & Tamer had a very festive Egyptian celebration at the Lake Isle Country Club. The couple had a great time (though Tamer looks a bit scared that his friends will drop him in this photo). This is actually one of our favorite photos, partly because their very different expressions make us laugh every time we look at it. Â
Even the musicians they hired really got into the party.
Sandy’s sister, Rania, gave a very touching speech. Apparently, when their mother was pregnant with Sandy, she didn’t want Rania to be jealous of the new baby, so she told Rania that Sandy was going to be her baby. Rania therefore felt a very deep bond with her sister and tried to teach her everything she knew. Lo and behold, Sandy grew up to become a very kind and loving person and Rania ended her speech by saying that she now has a lot to learn from Sandy.  We were very touched by the heartfelt words and as you can see, so was Sandy.Â
We like this photo a lot as well. So did Sandy & Tamer, it seems, since they chose it for their thank-you cards.
In Sandy’s words, she is ”in LOVE with the photos!!!! Thank u both so much!!!” As always, we’re very happy to hear that our couples like their photos.
