In the past few months, we’ve been doing location features on different spots in the tri-state area that have impressed us (we often get asked for our opinions since we’ve seen so many places!) We started with Liberty House in New Jersey, wrote about CV Rich Mansion in Westchester and would now like to end the series with Capitale in New York City.Â
Capitale is an old bank that’s been converted to a party space. The building’s architecture is magnificent.  It was built in the late 1800′s by a prominent NY architect. Look at the utterly breathtaking photo below! It depicts beautifully the majesty of Capitale. Capturing the 3 flower girls dancing in the middle is a nice bonus. We love the contrast of their smallness against the wide expanse of Capitale. And, of course, while everyone else is sitting still enjoying dinner, the flower girls have to get the dance floor going.  Really like the contrast of their motion against the still backdrop of the black tie affair. As you can see, we love this photo for many reasons!
  Â
Capitale has a great stairway to provide a grand entrance into the reception. The picture below is of Christine & David walking down to the cheers of their guests.Â

And, Capitale provides ample space for you to celebrate and have fun with your friends and family.  Christine & David ended the night dancing arm in arm with their guests. Unlike some venues, the dance floor is large enough to accommodate a lot of people.
Below is a page from Christine & David’s album. Do you see anyone that you recognize? Specifically, look at the top row, second picture from the right. James is in the photo! They asked for this photo to be in the album and we are truly honored to be part of the memories that Christine & David will treasure forever.

In all, we have been extremely impressed with the unparalleled beauty of Capitale. If we (i.e., Alice & James) were to get married again and we wanted to do it in NYC, we undoubtedly would choose Capitale!
